Fifty years of Nigerian sound, judged by its cover. A scrolling visual history of Nigerian album art from 1970s Afrobeat to global Afrobeats.

Overview
Sleeve is a scrolling visual history of Nigerian music told through its album art, from 1970s Afrobeat to today's global Afrobeats. It credits the painters, photographers and art directors behind the covers as much as the musicians.
The page changes as you scroll through time. Each of its five eras (Afrobeat and the Revolution; Jùjú, Fújì and Highlife; Naija Hip-Hop and the CD Era; Afrobeats Rises; Global) is a full-screen chapter in its own palette, type and texture, with an essay, a featured cover, a crate of sleeves and a “Design DNA” sheet. 39 covers are included.
Clicking a sleeve slides the record out and opens its details. Every credit that couldn't be confirmed is marked as unconfirmed rather than guessed.
